The platform Wikinger is the biggest Eolic farm of the world installed in deep waters, in more than 40 meters of depth. This Eolic installation, built by Iberdrola, counts with a voltage capacity of 400MW that will provide of electricity to 350.000 German homes. More than 70 aerogenerators of 5MW of last generation have been installed in a space of 32 square meters in the Baltic Sea.

Pine has carried out the development and execution of the electric substation and Eolic plant, including the helipad and the habilitation. The activities in which Pine has participated in this project are the following:

• Development of the engineering with the software FORAN for the 3D model design, wiring, connecting and routes, as well as its integration with Windchill, Necora and SAP.
• Supply of all the electrical equipment of Low Voltage and necessary materials for the completion of the project.
• Installation and electric set-up of all the electrical equipment of the platform.
• Run of the onshore and offshore trials.
• Launch of the substation.
• Offshore logistic.
